WHO WAS ALICE BAILLY?
Alice Bailly (1872–1938) was a pioneering Swiss painter best known for her bold, colourful works that bridged Impressionism, Cubism, and Fauvism. She developed a unique style called wool painting, where she used strands of coloured yarn in place of brushstrokes, creating vibrant, textured compositions unlike anything else at the time.
Bailly was also one of the very few women closely associated with the Cubist movement, making her an important figure in the history of modern art.
PRINT FINISH
We know that choosing art for your home is very personal.
That’s why our prints are made-to-order in a lovely Surrey workshop, using thick 240gsm paper with a smooth matt white finish. And we use a museum-quality Giclée process, which ensures the colours remain vibrant for years to come.
Just so you know, the print is unframed.
