Henri Rivière (1864–1951) was a French artist best known for his celebrated series, Thirty-Six Views of the Eiffel Tower. Inspired by Hokusai's Thirty-Six Views of Mount Fuji, Rivière captured a portrait of the people and places in Paris at the end of the nineteenth century.
