A Hungarian artist, designer, and teacher, László Moholy-Nagy was a leading figure of the Bauhaus movement and a pioneer of modern design and photography. He championed the integration of art, technology, and industry, experimenting with light, motion, and new materials to redefine how art could exist in the modern world. Through his innovations in photomontage, typography, and industrial design, and later as the founder of the New Bauhaus in Chicago, Moholy-Nagy left a lasting influence on twentieth-century art, education, and visual culture.
