A German artist, poet, and designer, Kurt Schwitters was a key figure in the Dada and Constructivist movements, best known for his innovative collage works known as Merz. Using discarded materials such as paper, wood, and metal, he transformed everyday objects into dynamic compositions that blurred the boundaries between art and life.
