Who was Paul Klee?
Paul Klee (1879β1940) was a Swiss-German painter associated with Expressionism, Cubism, and Surrealism. Klee taught at the Bauhaus between 1921 and 1919, where he became one of the schoolβs most influential instructors. Throughout his career, he produced thousands of works ranging from delicate watercolours to complex oil paintings, often marked by subtle humour and poetic titles.
